Reggie Bush Gives Up His Heisman Trophy

I've been following this story for a little while now because it would always pop up when I'm checking my email. After much controversy and investigation, player Reggie Bush is the first man in the Heisman's 75 year history to return the hard earned trophy. There has been many rumors that the Heisman committee was eventually going to strip him of his trophy some time in the near future. All of this started when NCAA officials determined that Reggie and his family accepted "improper benefits" from the University of South Carolina's athletic program while he was still in school which would make him ineligible for the trophy. I suppose this is the best thing that Reggie could have done. Instead of having it officially taken away from him, it's better to just voluntarily hand it back to end the speculations, rumors, and drama surrounding it all. Here's an official statement that Reggie issued regarding his decision:

“One of the greatest honors of my life was winning the Heisman Trophy in 2005. For me, it was a dream come true. But I know that the Heisman is not mine alone. Far from it. I know that my victory was made possible by the discipline and hard work of my teammates, the steady guidance of my coaches, the inspiration of the fans, and the unconditional love of my family and friends. And I know that any young man fortunate enough to win the Heisman enters into a family of sorts. Each individual carries the legacy of the award and each one is entrusted with its good name.

It is for these reasons that I have made the difficult decision to forfeit my title as Heisman winner of 2005. The persistent media speculation regarding allegations dating back to my years at USC has been both painful and distracting. In no way should the storm around these allegations reflect in any way on the dignity of this award, nor on any other institutions or individuals. Nor should it distract from outstanding performances and hard-earned achievements either in the past, present or future.

For the rest of my days, I will continue to strive to demonstrate through my actions and words that I was deserving of the confidence placed in me by the Heisman Trophy Trust. I would like to begin in this effort by turning a negative situation into a positive one by working with the Trustees to establish an educational program which will assist student-athletes and their families avoid some of the mistakes that I made. I am determined to view this event as an opportunity to help others and to advance the values and mission of the Heisman Trophy Trust.

I will forever appreciate the honor bestowed upon me as a winner of the Heisman. While this decision is heart-breaking, I find solace in knowing that the award was made possible by the support and love of so many. Those are gifts that can never be taken away.”

The palette features 6 eyeshadow colors, a travel sized 24/7 Glide-On eyeliner pencil in Zero, along with a mini Eden Primer Potion. The cost is $36 which isn't horrible. Whenever I get home up to Commons Way Mall, I'll definitely be picking up this bad boyyyyyyyyyyyy!

PETA Rips Gaga A New One

Gaga poses with raw meat for Japan's new September 2010 issue of Vogue. Of course PETA wasn't happy at all. Here's what the President of the organization had to say about Gaga's bold move for the cover:

I was honestly shocked when I heard the rumors that Will & Jada Smith's little girl Willow got signed to Jay-Z's label. Then I heard her song 'Flip My Hair' and definitely could see why. I really do like her song lol. She actually has talent (who would've known!). Jay-Z sat down with Ryan Seacrest and confirmed the rumors saying: 

“I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine year old and I was like man that record’s a smash. I believe in superstars. I believe on big records on superstars and I think she has both.

I always thought Rihanna had a nice body but I didn't realize how bomb her stomach is! I don't know why I didn't take her as a person to really really workout but it looks like it did it's job! Rihanna went to Hawaii this past monday and enjoyed the beach and sun with her other girlfriends. How cuteee! Oh, and those new tattoos (the gun and the half sleeve) ARE NOT real. They're for an upcoming movie she's working on.

Daily Shoe-gasm ♥: Steve Madden Caryssa Pumps*

Every girl honestly should own a pair of simple, yet sexy nude pumps. Steve Madden's Caryssa Pump in Blush does the trick. I think it was in Menlo Mall that I tried this shoe on and completely DIED inside. This shoe was pureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sex on my feet. They're a nice 5 inches and are honestly perfect in every way. This shoe came in patent leather as well as in a suede-like material. Patent leather is honestly the way to go. If you saw the other Steve Madden shoes I bought (the all glitter one), that's the shoe that I walked out the store with instead of with BOTH that shoe and this nude shoe because although 8.5 fit in the nude pump, it was a little tight and they didn't have the next size up :( So I'm currently about to order these bad boys online from Bloomies :) The price is only $89.95 which really isn't TOO too bad haha. Rihanna's Wax Figure = ON POINT.

Pardon me with this late post, but how on point is Rihanna's wax figure? It looks AMAZING. Even the hair color of her bangs looks exactly like how it was when she had her hair colored blonde. The only thing that I don't think is too too accurate is her boob size lmao. Those babies on the wax figure look so much bigger than what Rihanna is really working with. Agree?

Also, can we just feign over Rihanna's new long hair red look? I didn't know if I liked the big red bang before but I definitely like the head full of red. That's saying something especially since I don't think red looks good on everyone. Only a handful can pull it off and she's one of them.

T.I. & Tiny Arrested For Drug Possession

AND this fool JUST got out of prison. SMH.

This past Wednesday (Sept 1), rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny got pulled over and arrested after police smelled Marijuana and also found Ecstasy and Meth in their Maybach. They were arrested on the grounds of "possession of a controlled substance". T.I.'s probation officer has been on the move to find out what exactly happened and where the drugs came from. T.I. was ordered by his probation officer to come back down to Atlanta immediately.

This is so sad ... and almost irritating. This man is fresh out of jail and now he wants to have drugs in his car? I think it'll be a hard thing trying to get his probation officer to let this one go unless he has one hell of an excuse as to why he had meth and ecstasy in his car.
