Solange Admits To Having A BREAKDOWN

Solange recently interviewed with Vibe.com and spoke up and admitted to having a pretty big breakdown while recording her new album. Her son even had to stay with Beyonce and her family for a while because of it! Below are excerpts from her interview with Vibe.com.


“There was definitely a little bit of a breakdown involved. I literally gave up my sanity for a while to do this record. To the point to where I started doing it in Santa Barbara and I had to relocate to L.A. because I was losing it. We literally were waking up in the morning and just making music all day and all night. We left the house maybe three times! It just started to wear on me in so many different ways. I started having these crazy panic attacks. I can say that I totally sacrificed so much mentally, emotionally and financially to get this record the way I wanted it to be. It’s more than an album to me. It’s a transitional time in my life. This is a dance record, but the lyrics can get pretty dark at times.”


So where was her son, Julez when all of this was happening?
“It brought me closer to my family, my dude and my son. My mum, sister and brother (in-law) all kept Julez for a week. Everybody cancelled work when I was going through it.”


Honestly, if Solange's album doesn't do REALLY well, I fear for her mental stability on how she'll be able to take it.

Angelina Jolie Shows Her NEW TATTOOS!

Angelina Jolie recently showed off her newest tattoos at her "Salt" movie premiere in Cancun, Mexico! The number 13 in Roman Numerals was tatted on her arm along with V MCMXL to signify the date of Winston Churchill's very famous speech on May 13, 1940. During his speech he said: "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat." The other new tattoo that is above the date is something I can't make out. As far as the concept behind the Roman Numerals, I LOVE IT.

Alicia Keys Takes A FALL While Performing!

While performing this past Saturday at the 2010 Essence Music Festival, Alicia Keys took a pretty big fall on stage and landed on her back AND jumped right back up as if nothing happened. She's a trooper. If I were her, I'd be laid out and scared especially being a couple months pregnant! Above is the video of her fall.

So the Kardashians have just shot this ad above for their up and coming line of swimsuits entitled "Beach Bunny". Number one, where did that name even come from? And number two, this ad is photoshopped like it's no one's business. Then again, what's new with ANY Kardashian photoshoot?

Keri Hilson performed at the 2010 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana this past Friday Night. El Debarge also came out and performed "I Like It" with Keri. Honestly, how amazing does Keri look here? She has never failed to look gorgeous.
